Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have had to adapt to working from home without being prepared. The Department of Medical Services revealed that the climate and travel restrictions have resulted in a lack of enthusiasm for work, leading many to choose to work from their beds, which is the easiest option, especially among younger workers.

Data from the Department of Health also shows that in November 2020, 72 percent of 1,000 Americans surveyed were working in bed, a 50 percent increase since the COVID-19 pandemic, with one in ten working 24-40 hours or more per week in bed.

Working in bed isn't just a result of a lack of a proper workspace; it's also become a trend. However, in the field of ergonomics, working in bed is considered completely unsuitable for the body.
