The simulation involved a fire in the nutrition room on the second floor of the hospital, caused by an electrical short circuit. Staff members responded to the scene using various firefighting techniques learned in both theoretical and practical training. The exercise also included procedures for evacuating patients, staff, and visitors from the building according to a safety plan. This activity was organized to prepare for and review fire prevention and suppression methods, which can involve both small and large fires. The hospital recognizes the importance of all staff having basic knowledge of fire extinguisher use and fire safety procedures, ensuring they are ready to handle any situation. Furthermore, it aims to build confidence in the safety standards of S Spine & Nerve Hospital for those receiving services at the hospital.
