The 10th anniversary conference, held once a year in Thailand, took place this year under the theme "Collaboration and Harmonization in Neurological Surgery" at ICONSIAM from August 15-17, 2023. Over 2,700 participants from 18 countries attended, including the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and others.

This academic conference provided a platform for knowledge exchange among leading spine and brain surgeons worldwide. S Spine Hospital sent a medical team to participate, with Dr. Thapanat Chantaraphas, a spine surgeon, serving as the moderator for the presentation of medical research on spine and neurological diseases.

Dr. Chumpol Kakanant, a spine surgeon specializing in spinal surgery, presented a paper titled "Next Chapter of Endoscopic Spine Surgery: Full Endoscopic TLIF" (a technique for treating spinal nerve compression using an endoscopic camera), which garnered significant interest and numerous questions from the attending surgeons.

Sending doctors from S Spine Hospital to participate in this event aims to bring about changes in spinal treatment in the professional education of spinal surgery and to provide better treatment for people suffering from back pain. S Spine Hospital is committed to developing new knowledge and techniques in spinal treatment to benefit patients and help them recover from back pain, and is ready to share this knowledge with interested parties in future academic seminars.
