S Spine & Joint Hospital Joins Hands with “Kong Saharat” to Bring Smiles to Older Adults Through the “S Care & Share” Activity

S Spine & Joint Hospital, a specialized hospital for spine and joint care, joined hands with “Kong” Saharat Sangkapricha to bring smiles to older adults through the “S Care & Share” activity, held during the month of World Elder Abuse Awareness.

S Spine & Joint Hospital organized the corporate social responsibility activity “S Care & Share: Sharing Happiness with Older Adults” at Ban Bang Khae 2 Social Welfare Development Center for Older Persons on Monday, June 22, 2026. The activity aimed to promote the importance of caring for older adults in terms of physical health, emotional well-being, and quality of life. Artist and actor “Kong” Saharat Sangkapricha joined the event to share warmth, encouragement, and smiles with older adults, in line with the month of June, when the world places importance on raising awareness of elder abuse.

As a specialized hospital for spine and joint care, S Spine & Joint Hospital recognizes that spine and joint health is a fundamental part of mobility and quality of life at every age. This is especially important for older adults, who may experience difficulties with walking, standing up, sitting down, maintaining balance, chronic pain, or age-related physical degeneration. These conditions may not only affect physical health, but also confidence, emotional well-being, and daily living.

Dr. Dittapong Boonampol, Chief Executive Officer of S Spine & Joint Hospital, also attended the opening of the activity. Dr. Suebpong Intrarat, Hospital Director of S Spine & Joint Hospital, shared that the objective of this activity aligned with an important annual observance in June, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, which was officially recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in 2011. The day aims to encourage society to recognize the importance of caring for older adults and promoting their quality of life.

The event also featured a team of specialist doctors who shared health knowledge on appropriate spine and joint care for older adults. Activities included a movement workshop designed to promote exercise and help prevent spine and joint problems, as well as games that allowed older adults to participate, move their bodies, and enjoy time together. The event also included a mini concert to share happiness through music.

S Spine & Joint Hospital places importance on both health care and prevention for older adults, as the ability to carry out daily activities can greatly contribute to their happiness and quality of life. This aligns with the meaning of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Caring for older adults is not only about physical health, but also about holistic care that includes emotional support, acceptance, listening, and attention from family members and younger generations. Every aspect is an important part of overall well-being.

S Spine & Joint Hospital is ready to support older adults through advanced diagnostic technology and experienced specialists, helping identify the true cause of symptoms and provide targeted treatment. The hospital remains committed to promoting greater awareness of the importance of older adults in society.

“Kong” Saharat Sangkapricha also joined the activity to meet, talk with, and offer encouragement to older adults in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

“Today’s society moves quickly. Everyone is busy working and making a living, and sometimes older adults are forgotten. As they age, they may not be able to care for themselves as well as before. It is the responsibility of children and family members to turn back and take care of them,” Kong Saharat said.

The activity included singing, games, and health education for older adults from S Spine & Joint Hospital’s specialist doctors. Kong also shared his personal experience of caring for his mother. Recently, he brought his mother to S Spine & Joint Hospital because she had back pain. After undergoing an MRI scan, it was found that she had a mild degree of spondylolisthesis. The doctor explained that her habit of sitting cross-legged had caused her torso to twist, and she received advice to correct the issue before it progressed further.

Kong emphasized that Thailand is now an aging society, making health care for older adults more important than ever. If health problems are not treated in time, they may become more severe and affect quality of life.

The “S Care & Share” activity was not only about sharing happiness. It was also an opportunity to encourage society to recognize the importance of comprehensive care for older adults, especially on the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. This important observance reminds us that caring for older adults is not only about preventing violence and neglect, but also about giving love, time, conversation, attention, respect, and dignity. It also includes observing changes in their health so they can receive appropriate care, move with confidence, carry out daily activities, and enjoy a good quality of life.

This activity also reinforced the image of S Spine & Joint Hospital as a specialized hospital for spine and joint care that is committed to supporting health and quality of life for people of all ages. Through social contribution activities, the hospital continues to share knowledge, expertise, and care, helping create a society that values health, dignity, and the well-being of every individual.
